Brand in woning aan de Borneostraat
[Maastricht | 29 oktober 2024] Dinsdagochtend is brand uitgebroken in een woning aan de Borneostraat in deelbuurt Trichterveld in de wijk Mariaberg. De melding van de woningbrand kom om 11:17 uur binnen bij de hulpdiensten.
De brandweer rukte met groot materieel uit. De hulpdiensten ontdekken dat er nog huisdieren in huis waren. Een kooi met vogels werd tijdig uit de woning gehaald en bij buren ondergebracht. Er vielen geen gewonden.

House fire on Borneostraat
[Maastricht | October 29, 2024] A fire erupted Tuesday morning in a dwelling on Borneostraat in the Trichterveld sub-discrict in the Mariaberg neighborhood. The report of the house fire reached the emergency services at 11:17 am.
The fire department rushed out with large equipment. The emergency services discovered that there were still pets in the house. A cage with birds was removed from the house in time and accommodated by neighbors. No injuries were reported.
